Key to the success of any product is the consideration of the EMC and Safety Standards, which the design must meet. Furthermore a product may require EMC performance beyond that dictated by legislation, in order to meet required design performance criteria and ensure adequate signal integrity.
Plextek’s design service includes processes to ensure EMC performance criteria are met and that the end product is fully compliant with the relevant standards. These are applied from the outset of a development resulting in a total EMC and Safety solution at the lowest cost and risk to the client.

Pre-Compliance Testing
We have a comprehensive range of EMC test equipment and facilities on-site, supporting our design and consultancy activities. This enables us to evaluate EMC performance before submitting products for costly full-compliance testing. Tests that we are able to perform in-house to ensure EMC and safety compliance include:

Design Risk Assessment
