Plextek secures £3m design and supply contract with TRACKER Network

GPS and vehicle tracking devices to be used in Stolen Vehicle Recovery service

Cambridge, 18 April 2006: Plextek has secured a £3m contract with TRACKER, part of the Royal Bank of Scotland Group, for the design and supply of GPS and vehicle tracking devices. These will be used in the latest generation of the TRACKER Stolen Vehicle Recovery service, which uses a dedicated network of land-based radio transmitters to pin-point the exact location of a vehicle. The new devices are smaller and lower cost than the previous solution.
