Plextek's strategic consulting activities set for further growth

Plextek, the Cambridge-based electronics and communications design consultancy, today announced the appointment of Colin Forster to its Strategic Consulting group. Colin brings to the role 25 years of business and technology experience gained at Gartner Consulting, NEC Semiconductor, IDATE Consulting & Research and PA Consulting Group. His extensive expertise covers new technology/product development, digital video and communications, digital TV/broadcast, industrial imaging, consumer electronics, mobile communications and IT.

Colin will contribute across Plextek's full spectrum of services, with a particular focus on the Strategic Consulting group where he will help clients faced with making key technology-related strategic decisions within their businesses. Working with Plextek's technical specialists, the Strategic Consulting group studies the impact of new technologies, identifies and analyses new product opportunities, audits projects, assesses IPR portfolios and undertakes technical due diligence as part of making an investment.
