Plextek covers all RF and microwave CAD bases

Cambridge, 10 October 2005: Plextek has announced that it now offers support for all three major RF and microwave CAD packages following the recent purchase of 'Microwave Office' from Applied Wave Research (AWR). This latest CAD software is added to the company's two existing packages, namely Advanced Design System (ADS) from Agilent and Ansoft's 'Designer', enabling it to more easily interface with the preferred CAD software of its customers.

Liam Devlin, Plextek's Director of RF Integration, commented: "Plextek is now in the enviable position of owning all three major RF and microwave CAD packages, something which we believe is not true of many of our competitors. This means that we can now offer a much more efficient service to our RF and microwave clients. Not only can we supply schematics, simulation results and layouts in their preferred format, we can also make use of a wider range of model libraries."
