Plextek presents at RF and Microwave Society conference

In only one of two conferences held each year by ARMMS - The RF and Microwave Society, Andy Dearn of electronics consultancy Plextek will present a technical paper about "InGaP HBT MMIC Development".

As well as discussing a commercially available process in his paper on 4 November, Andy will also present a practical example that will demonstrate the design and measured performance of two specific MMICs.

Said Andy, Senior Technology Consultant "InGaP HBT is being increasingly adopted as the technology of choice for low voltage PA's, integrated VCOs and broadband DC coupled amplifiers. Devices with Fmax can be fabricated with moderate emitter geometries and there are proven, commercial parts widely available. I have designed my presentation to demonstrate a process using these commercial parts, and also to give some specific examples."
