In addition to telecoms products, Plextek has also undertaken the design
of other low-cost, high-volume consumer products such as hands-free,
Bluetooth car-kits and digital answer machines. The dramatic reductions
that have occured in the cost of microprocessors mean that they are
now common place in many everyday, low-cost consumer products. Plextek
have introduced microprocessor technology to products such as water
softners, domestic kettles, male fertility testers and light controllers.

in order to achieve attractive, quality, manufacturable products at
